A one-off piece created from a set of experimental breakdown printed fabrics. The technique which uses a sticky back plastic as a resist on the screen was later used in my Artefact series.

In 23 Kilns I printed 21 kilns and pieced them together using white sashing to isolate each print. The fabric was then layered and machine quilted. Two stitched kilns were added as part of the machine quilting. Made in 2017, the quilt is supplied with top and bottom hanging sleeves.
