Risograph is a brand name for a range of digital duplicators that evolved from mimeograph machines. They use soy-based inks and have much lower costs than conventional photocopies and laser printers so are often used for mid-volume print runs. The distinctive colours, half-tones and potential for imperfect registration in ‘riso’ prints are popular amongst graphic designers and the ‘zine’ community.  Arial Rounded is the typeface used in this quilt.

This piece is one of four small quilts in my Print series that were part of my solo exhibition at Festival of Quilts in 2019. The quilt is supplied with top and bottom hanging sleves.
